Best place to farm holiday items as Ele
Hey, Just wondering if anyone knew a fast place to farm primarly for holiday items.
I tried the raptor farm but the builds i foundin-game resulted in me dying a nice bit in HM. and couldn't take the boss. i looked on the forums and saw a build but there was also some other builds in there so i was just wondering which is the fastest/most productive? as there were some good points and neg for the builds. carried out a search too but didnt see anything sorry if theres a simliar post. The drops while brawling aren't THAT bad.
Although having never farmed holiday items - what's a good drop rate to you? |

Since those are drop at random by any foes, Just go for anything that comes in great number.
the 2 first wave of snowman solo in HM will drop you some.(Monk tome and some gold too). Base of my farm build is Spitefull Spirit, a running skill, .I'M Unstoppable'' and troll onguant so the glither snowman waste is interupt. 25 foes in around 3 1/2 min from start to finish. If the only purpose of your farm is those goodies, try the Northern Wall mission in Normal Mode in prophecy. After the last cut scene, instead of running away, show them what 's on your bar. About 20 to 30 Charrs for you to roast. Only drawback is the 5 min to get to them. |

Btw... what profession did you use... because I think the Raptor-cave is the best place to farm for those items. I did only 4 runs and got 10 of them including a white dye. What is your Asura Rank ? I have 2 builds for Ele, which I could post here if you want. Just did another 2 runs. First run 3 event items and a dye. 2nd run in the screenshot^^ 2nd run took 2 mins or so. I had to go back because I died too fast. Last edited by take_me; Mar 15, 2008 at 09:45 PM // 21:45.. |

I've been solo farming Glints challenge in HM a bit on my ele. I've been getting lots of drops there. Haven't done raptors though so can't give you comparison. Check the farming forum.

I've been doing the vaetirr farm, getting around 7 of each item per run, along with the usual goodies.

Gates of Kryta farm in NM netted me 13 clovers and 6 alchohol in 2 runs. Its with monk but there must be a NM ele build that could do it.

Aye, any nice builds for ele.
I use'd do the vaetirr farm as ele but it is quite long. i've heard people say things like 3-5 holiday drops from the raptors here and there in the space of 1-2 min. I haven't been able to achieve that so wondering if its true or if there are any good alts to it. Any builds/links would be very helpful, i'll try and see cvan i get a few of the suggested ones ago.ty |

For ELEs it'S basically this build, but it requires a good Asuran Rank.

I farm at Nolani Academy normal mode.
Just open the gate switch let em all rush in and group together (hopefully) and burn em Don't worry to go out the gate too much just get the ones that come in then rinse and repeat. Get about 5 to 7 mixed clovers and ales in a run bout 4 to 6 min of my time also get good runes as well sometimes for selling. |
